Lessons are priced based on the language as follows:

  • English as a Second Language (ESL) – $55 an hour
  • Japanese, Spanish, French, German, Korean, Italian, Chinese and Portuguese – $58 an hour

In addition to the lesson cost, there is a one-time registration fee of $70. Books and materials typically cost from $100-$150.

Yes, we can help you prepare to take the TOEIC® or TOEFL® test. For the TOEFL, your training and coaching with International Language Plus will include the internet Based Test (iBT).

Yes, if you are a current student or have completed one of our TOEIC® Preparation Courses, you are eligible to take the TOEIC® test at International Language Plus.

Lessons are available for you during and after the typical American workday and even on weekends. You can schedule your lessons Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. and on Saturday between 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

All teachers at International Language Plus are native or fluent speakers with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Some instructors also have master’s degrees or doctorate degrees. All of our teachers have completed ILP instructors’ training. 

In most cases, you will have the same teacher for your entire lesson series. We accommodate each student’s needs according to their personal preferences and availability, so if you choose to have two or more lesson times each week, you may have more than one teacher, but those teachers will be the same for your entire lesson series. We will always try to match you with a teacher who will best meet your needs.

You can have lessons at our school, at your office, online, or in your home, whichever you prefer. There is a standard fee of $0.67 per mile for lessons where your teacher goes to your office or your home.

Yes, you will receive a Certificate of Completion at the conclusion of your lesson series.

Yes, we teach English as a Second Language to children as young as 4 years old. For other languages, the minimum age is 8 years old.
